Hello, dear customer.
We have now created a place where you can comment on our service.

Why do this?
We are finding in today's world people love to leave a review of a product or service.
We want to invite customers to relate back to us their experience. This then give us an opportunity to address any concern you my have or to share in the joy of a great experience.
In the past we have had difficulties in addressing issues raise on external review site and find it hard to contact the person who posted that review.

How does it work?
When your post has been sent we will review the post, This then gives us an opportunity to contact you for further discussion. To aid us with this if you leave your email that would be great.
Reviews that contain abusive language will be filtered and may not be approved to post.
This review blog is intend as a conversation to aid us in providing a better service to you the customer.
When posting a review please allow us 24 to 48 hour to process the review.

I would like to express my disappointment at your lack of customer service. I called your office on the 12th March to request a quote for a SMEG item. A week later after no contact, I called again for the same request. As of today I have still not heard from your company.
I will not be calling again and will now look for an alternative supplier of the item I need.

Thank you MASWA once again for your excellent service. I have used your company a few times over the past few years re: my old and now my new SMEG wall oven. From Ash (so efficient) booking the job to Danny (always respectful and extremely competent) and his offsider (didn't catch his name) completing the work I have the highest praise for you all. We have used Metropolitan Appliance Service a few times in the last several years and are happy to recommend them. Each time they have been on time, professional, and thorough. Communication regarding appointments, details of the job, and fees has been clear and timely. The repairers have been knowledgeable and courteous. The most recent repair to our rangehood developed a problem a couple of months after the original repair. The team at Metropolitan Appliance Service carried out the subsequent repair work (both parts and labour) under their 3-month warranty – a very pleasant outcome for us.

Thank you Nick and team for a stellar job!
I can honestly say in all my years of dealing with customer service, this has been by far the best experience😄

Our Smeg fridge stopped cooling which as anyone can imagine is quite an emergency! One phone call is all it took before the team at Metropolitan Appliance services were on our doorstep to pick up the faulty fridge and supply us with another whilst they addressed the problem.To our delight, due to unexpected time delays in obtaining spare parts, they offered to replace the faulty fridge with a brand new Smeg fridge at no cost!!

We are elated with the outcome and can't thank the boys enough for their friendly, professional and efficient service. 🙏 🌟 👌

It Is How You Manage A Difficult Situation !!
Thankyou to Geoff, Nick and the team for your persistence and management of what ended up being a more drawn out and difficult issue to resolve an unoperational dishwasher. I completely appreciated Nick's genuine effort to resolve and troubleshoot various problems that arose. Geoff, my view of Smeg products could have gone one way after, although your final phase of managing the situation has renewed my faith in the fact that service still exists and that you (on behalf of Smeg ) back their product. I am now happy, my faith in Smeg is renewed and Thankyou greatly !!

I would like to express my absolute most dissappointment called up to try and book our dishwasher In and was told that this couldn’t happen due to them only coming to our area on Wednesday’s. We both both and are unable to leave our jobs to let them and couldn’t even request a time after 3:30 . Basically told tough luck that’s it customer service was very rude will never be buying another appliance from them ever again

I want to say a huge thank you to Metro Appliance Service and SMEG for providing the most incredible customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Using our 2 month old SMEG over Easter weekend I placed aluminium foil on the cavity floor to prevent too much mess when baking pizza. I never realised at the time the damage this would cause to an oven due to the build of heat. The next day to my horror I saw hairline cracks and chips along the enamel coating. I contacted Winning Appliances where I purchased the appliance to let them know what had happened. They put me in touch with Metro Appliance Service as the SMEG service agent. I spoke with Geoff who understood how anxious I was to discover how much this would cost me to repair if at all possible. He asked me to give him a couple of days so he could speak with SMEG. The following day I received a call back from Geoff. I was completely blown away to discover that between Geoff and SMEG they had decided to swap my existing unit with a completely new one.

I will be forever grateful to SMEG and Metro Appliance Services for this outcome as they had no obligation to do this. You set high standards lots of other companies could learn from. That’s how you create loyalty.

Amazing service!

Hi,

I had some repair work done on my oven. I was very satisfied with the works completed. He was very efficient and the standard of work was great.

However, I received the quote from your parts department who instructed I reply if I want to proceed with the repair work which I replied to proceed. I recieved no communication back and I ended up phoning a week later and they said the parts were ordered and I'd get a call to organise it once the parts are in. The work was completed so I paid the invoice and emailed to confirm the invoice has been paid and due to us selling our house can I please have a receipt of payment and the warranty information on the works so I can pass this onto the new owners. The service man said we would have a 12 month warranty which I mentioned in the email. I received an email back from Sharon which just said "The warranty is 3 months on parts and labour."
So I replied and asked for the requested documents to please be sent through and advise the staff of the correct warranty period.

I received nothing back. I phoned again and asked for these documents. The girl apologised and said she will put an urgent request for the documents.

I have still received nothing and I am very disappointed with the customer service I have received. I shouldn't have to go to this much trouble to get a receipt of payment and warranty information?

Unfortunately, I forgot to ask technician's name who came to inspect and replace my SMEG diswasher's parts who went above and beyond to help me out even though I was quite frustraited with overall service which is not his fault.
Huge thanks to him and I hope gets a pay rise or at least any other sort of appreciation from his manager's side.

Another great service experience from MAS and a brilliant outcome. Prompt response to another call on a troublesome Fridge/Freezer. Parts ordered promptly. Kept informed throughout. Great customer focused engineer that identified the issue and fix the parts when they arrived. Back up and working with minimal fuss. I have no hesitation to recommend MAS for a great customer focused service outcome.

I never leave negative feedback but I was really disappointed this time. I left a message via your website end of Feb. 2 weeks on, no reply so called to book an appointment. Repair guy came, said I needed to order parts. Said MASA will contact me when said parts arrive. No call. Had to follow up again (one month later). Booked repair date and was then informed that it wasn't worth fixing!!! Although I am grateful at the honesty of the last repair guy, it would have been helpful to be told this 2 months earlier!!!

Shane came out to replace the glass on our SMEG oven today, very pleasant and professional tradie who was on time ( he was actually at my house before I got home from the school run). I would recommend this company.

AMAZING service with a smile and pleasant professional manner. We had our induction top replaced within two weeks and we live in the country. Everyone we spoke to from office staff to service people were outstanding. We are committed to only buying SMEG cooking appliances because of this outstanding service.

This was unfortunately the worst repair experience for my cordless vacuum.
The customer service was non-existent at best, I actually found it confrontational, when I was just trying to understand how it worked. Have never had to get something repaired before.
I never received any quote, when I asked for one was told that I couldn’t be given one yet, no reason.
I also wasn’t advised of the total cost before the work started, just informed after the work was finished.
Every time I called was treated as if there was something super urgent the worker had to get back too, meanwhile I had to sit there with no information, no idea of the cost, and no even rough estimate of the finished repair date. I got treated like I was less than a speck of dirt under her boot. In summary, it was horrible service, no clear information, no quote provided, a long wait time, and high cost.
Never going back here, would rather drive an hour for even 5% better service.

Such terrible customer service by the lady on the phones, both times she was extremely rude and there is no sense of urgency around when a technician can come out. After reading the reviews, I don't think Im alone here. By the sounds Geoff needs to be made aware of the treatments and first impression customers are receiving.

Bought my Smeg coffee machine from Harvey Norman, it stopped working just after a year from only myself using it, machine looked practically new. Took back to Harvey Norman as requested, they sent off for inspection. After waiting over 2 weeks and no updates from either service center or Harvey Norman, received the item back boxed unable to inspect instore. Once home, noticed the item I received back was in fact not mine but a significantly more used item as a few buttons had been worn away. Not happy at both the length of time before any contact, no report as to what happened and a more used looking machine returned in just over a year and half of use. I realise it’s only a small appliance, but the machine that looked new and taken care of, and is now old. I don’t think I would purchase SMEG again after this experience.
